Painting trip to Italy (Online)

Join me remotely on a trip to Italy. We will travel through Venice to Florence, and from there to the Atelier house of Grassina. We will observe how the scenery will change along with light, and get to know Florence's history of art through painting it ourselves.

The Italy themed online course will include painting and drawing tasks, in which we will study through the lens of an artist, how for example light travels in a landscape. We will also get the chance to delve into the history of art in Florence and learn how to draw and paint like the key artists during the Renaissance. With the course you will be able to join me on my time at the Atelier house in Grassina, which is located 12 km away from Florence.

The course will involve text, photos, some videos and related painting tasks. The course will not include the presence of the teacher, nor the grading or evaluation of tasks. The landscape themed tasks of the course can be done by observing the very scenery of your own cottage. However, the course will also provide images based on which each task can be completed if you wish to do so. The course can be completed using the materials and colours that you already have and use, so there is no need to purchase any extra special equipment. This course works perfectly well for both beginners and art enthusiasts.
